Automation and technology may allow us to provide “keyboard to door” ordering, payment and delivery, but if you’re dissatisfied with a purchase, that’s the time when experience has taught us your concern is best handled with a personal approach.
If you’re dissatisfied with a product and wish to return it, please contact us with your request including the original order number and date. We try to make our returns policy simple and fair. After all, our staff are customers too. And while we try to be as flexible as possible in quickly resolving your issue, we must incorporate certain restrictions that enable us to continue providing products and services for you and all our customers.
Please do not return any items without first obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) Number. Items must be in the same condition as when purchased and be in their original manufacturer’s packaging (if applicable) along with any publications or other items originally included. All return requests must be received by us within 30 days or less of an item’s purchase date depending on the type of merchandise. We may apply a restocking fee up to 20%. Please see return policy below for certain classes of merchandise.
To handle your returns request, we may:
a. Issue an exchange for an item of equal value.
b. Issue a gift certificate.
c. Issue a refund.
CDs and DVDs, must be unopened, unless defective, in which case they must be returned with original packaging within 15 days of purchase. We reserve the right to exchange defective merchandise with a new version of the same title.
Electronics are returned to the manufacturer based on the warranty documents included. Electronics not covered by a manufacturer’s return or warranty policy must be returned to us within 15 days with any accompanying software unopened.
Opened or used personal items like bath and beauty products or halal health items are not returnable.
Personalized printed products are not returnable, unless we have made an error.
If you received an incorrect item, please contact us for assistance in processing your return.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to adjust the return value of an item based on its appearance including signs of use, alteration or damage.
Issues regarding special order items such as Group Acquisition Purchase (GAP) merchandise are handled directly by the manufacturer or our supplier.
We will issue a credit for return shipping only if there is an error on our part or if merchandise delivered to a Continental U.S. address is defective. Otherwise the customer is responsible for the cost associated with returning and/or replacing items shipped to or from us. For returned items shipped to us, the customer assumes full liability including package loss. We recommend using a traceable shipping method with a reliable carrier. If you are returning a high value item, you may wish to insure the shipment.
* GAP merchandise are special products that qualify for their low sale price because purchasers have agreed to combine their individual buying capacity with a larger group purchasing capacity. Our site famacopublishers.com or any affiliated GAP site does not issue refunds or process returns for GAP merchandise. The manufacturer’s returns policy for GAP items will appear with the product’s description or specifications.
